Bruce Cohen and Rick Shaffer of The Reds at the Hot Club, ca. early 1978. One of the first local new wave bands, all of The Reds' members had served time in bands going back to the 1960s. After recording two impressive self-released singles, The Reds signed to A&M for their first album.
